Jim Callans has been a creator of curious things since he discovered pencils. Growing up in California and Hawaii, he developed a passion for the landscapes around him.
His work marries sculpture, photography, and architecture—an exploration of elements that construct our exterior worlds and interior spaces. He builds and creates through multiple mediums, from letterpress printing to skate-able structures, parametric design and digital-to-physical fabrication.
Preferring to place no limits on material use in relation to creative expectations, Jim continues to expand his craft as new opportunities for expression arise.
